Our College aspires to bring a difference in the quality of training and health care service provision in the country. We prioritize research, student centered training and patient centered health care delivery.

Hawassa University Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, our main teaching Hospital, has been functioning since its establishment in 2008. We provide wide variety of tertiary care services including, but not limited to Neurosurgery, Neurology, Oncology, Pediatric Surgery, ENT, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to more than 20 million populations in Sidama and neighboring regions.

Our College has trained thousands of health care professionals since 1996, who are serving the country in different capacities and has played a significant role in alleviating the shortage of professionals in the country.  Together with the young, energetic and vibrant faculty and leadership of the College, we are committed to continue our hard work to improve the quality of education in all disciplines.
